Beagles
Beagles are a small breed of dog similar to Foxhound. Beagles have shorter legs and soft ears. Beagles are trained to catch hair, rabbits and play games. They have a powerful sense of smell and are used as rescue and drug sniffing dogs.
Beagles are small dogs. They usually weight about 8 KG and are about a food long. They have big, soft droopy ears and the eyes of beagles are large and brown in color. They are are usually a combination of white, black or brown. Just like the rest of the hound family, the beagle dogs have a medium length coat that covers and protects its body from any harmful elements in the environment. This medium length coat is what makes the beagles easy to groom. However, the hairs of the beagles are hard and never silky nor soft. They lie close to the body of this scent hound, making the breed appears like an English foxhound of the small size.
Beagles are very fun and outgoing dogs. They love people and running around. Beagles are very energetic. They make poor guard dogs because they are so attracted to new people- all they want to do is play. Beagles are very smart dogs. They will figure out how to open doors, jump over fences, and get into trouble. Be sure to keep food out of their reach because they will jump up and get it. They love food and use their keen sense of smell to find it.
The are fun loving animals. They love to socialize and be part of a family gathering, and they are full of energy and temperament. Beagles should be taken outside regularly. As hunting dogs, they are breed for the outdoors and don’t like to be confined to small spaces. They like to run around and play. Beagles are great for people who have big back yards or can take them out for a walk. If not socialized in a proper way, beagles tend to lose interest and get bored. As a result, they wander around and follow something that captures their interest and attention, which usually means something that causes trouble- for you. This is why proper beagle training is important.
Because Beagles are so energetic, beagle dog training can be a difficult process for many owners. Training Beagles requires patience and a lot of practice. You need to begin training beagles as soon as possible. If you wait on training, your Beagle will develop bad habits that will be hard to break later on. Luckily, centuries of breeding have made them great at training. They are obedient dogs and are trained easily. Training a beagle dog is not very hard but simply takes a lot of patience. After you train them, you’ll have a dog that is fun and exciting but is also well trained and won’t jump on the kitchen counter to steal your food.
